Gridiron Hounds Chosen to Play Arkansas Tech in C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl

PORTALES, N.M. — Eastern New Mexico University football coach Josh Lynn has announced that the Greyhounds have been selected to play in the C.H.A.M.P.S Heart of Texas Bowl. The contest will take place on Saturday, December 5, at 5 p.m. MT, against Arkansas Tech University.
The contest marks the Greyhounds’ first trip to the postseason during the NCAA era. Eastern’s last postseason contest came against Mesa State in the 1983 NAIA Playoffs. ENMU has not played a team from the state of Arkansas, since the 2005 season opener, against Central Arkansas. The contest will mark the Hounds’ first meeting with the Wonder Boys.
