C.H.A.M.P.S. HOT BOWL TELEVISED FOR FIRST TIME

For the first time ever, the 15th Annual Hoffpauir Auto Group C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl powered by Wellness49.com, will be televised live.

The game will go live on Fox Sports Go, a competitor of ESPN3, and fans will be able to watch the game live by simply downloading the free Fox Sports Go app. The college football doubleheader is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. kickoffs from Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove, Texas on December 5th, 2015.

In addition to live play, fans can view a replay of both games on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel, Channel 323, in Time Warner Cable markets statewide. This replay will occur the day following the live game, Sunday December 6, 2015. The Junior College Game will air at 4:30 p.m., with the NCAA Division II game immediately following at 7:30 p.m.

And for those fans who are unable to view the replay, in the week following the Bowl game, both games will be available for viewing on the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas website at HeartofTexasBowl.com, and will also be posted on YouTube. This will provide viewing access worldwide for fans who have previously been unable to enjoy the game.

Bowl Founder Jack Welch said, “The growth of the bowl game this year is such a blessing. Being televised nationally on Fox 2 Go and Time Warner Sports to a multitude of football fans to see the great product on display on the gridiron in Copperas Cove, Texas is so exciting for players and fans.”

The Division 2 teams participating in the 15th Annual Hoffpauir Auto Group C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl will be Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds located in Portales, New Mexico representing the Lone Star Conference, and the “Wonder Boys” from Arkansas Tech University located in Russellville, Arkansas, representing the Great American Conference.

The Greyhounds enter the game as the third-placed team in the Lone Star Conference regular season schedule. They completed the regular season with a 6-3 record.

The Wonder Boys completed a successful 2015 season with an 8-3 overall record. Tech was a member of the Gulf South Conference from 1995 to 2011.

The Junior College teams participating in the 15th Annual Hoffpauir Auto Group C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl will be Texas Champion Kilgore College Rangers located in Kilgore, Texas, as the National Junior College Athletic Association Region XII and the East Central Community College Warriors, located in Decatur, Mississippi the MACJC Conference.

The 15th Annual Heart of Texas Bowl features two major bowl games each year in December at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove Texas.
